“A just transition to net zero by 2050 requires a lot of the heavy lifting to be undertaken in this decade.

Heat networks will play a vital role in the lowest-cost pathway to decarbonizing our homes and workplaces in the future but are also the piece in the jigsaw that we can be putting in place right now.

This collaboration between Cory and Vattenfall has yielded a project of incredible scale and ambition and to have unlocked and accelerated it using a little over £12m of funding from the Heat Network Investment Project is a source of great pride for everyone involved.”

Ken Hunnisett is Project Director for Triple Point Heat Networks Investment Management.
